Meet Scout, Skip, Stewie, and Stevie! These four boys came into the San Jose shelter without a mama, so we brought them into foster care where they can get TLC and socialization. At roughly 5 weeks old, they're still not quite ready to be neutered yet. Once they exceed the 2 pound mark, we will get them neutered, vaccinated, and chipped and they'll be ready to move on to their forever homes. We anticipate that happening around the 8 week mark, so 2-3 more weeks until they're ready.
From left to right following the picture of the kittens spread out horizontally in a box: Scout, Stewie, Stevie, and Skip. Skip is the grey tabby, Stewie is the solid grey (very unique coloring in person!), Scout is the orange tabby with wider eyes, and Stevie is the orange tabby with squintier eyes. They're all mischievous and adventurous, but Stewie is by far the most outgoing of the bunch. Stevie purrs when petted. Scout is a professional mouse hunter - he loves the cat dancer mouse toy and enjoys chasing string toys. Stewie likes to sit on foster mom's chest and enjoy pets. He sneak attacks the mouse toy, too. Little Skip is the most introverted of the bunch. He's laid back and enjoys napping more than adventuring. They are eating like champs (wet and dry food combined), using the litter box just fine, and learning to interact with humans without being hissy and scared. In a couple short weeks, these guys will make fine fuzzy friends! Let us know if you're interested in pre-adopting any of these boys and we will arrange a meeting. We always recommend our kittens go in at least pairs; our adoption fee for one kitten is $150 or $250 for two or more.
