Blue is a gorgeous  "Blind" Russian Blue kitty who was dumped at a feral colony and left to fend on his own. He has shown great tenacity as he did his best to survive in an area where he could not see and had to find his way to food. Our rescue team trapped him and upon taking him to the vet, found out that he had been a house cat as he was fine being held and was already neutered. He is approximately 2 years old. We have taken him to an eye specialist in home of offering him an operation to restore his sight but preliminary tests indicate that he is permanently blind. He likes other animals as long as he does not feel threatened, and he loves being outdoors and cannot jump since he cannot see. He uses his litter box like a champ and when he is done ,he tosses one of his toys in the air! He would require time to gain the trust of his new owner but is a very low maintenance cat, and we would offer support in terms of cat condos and a cat behaviorist if needed to help him feel secure. His main sense is smell and that is all that he can rely on.
