Niko is an adorable Lhasa Apso / Shih Tzu blend. He's about 2 years old and in good health. Niko is sporting a full body shave-down haircut right now because he came into the shelter badly matted. As his coat grows back, it will be long and he will need regular grooming attention in order to prevent mats. Niko is a sweet young man who is working on basic obedience and socialization skills in his foster home. He'd like a home without children or cats, but very much enjoys canine company. Niko loves to go for walks and does well on leash. He loves sunbathing and being outdoors. He is also very well-behaved in the car. When crated for car rides, he simply curls up and sleeps the whole way like a gentleman. Niko loves toys...he always chooses a special toy to sleep with at night. His cute little curly tail is his best friend...he chases it every evening for 15 minutes as his bedtime ritual. Check out his video...it's irresistibly hilarious to watch!
