Lucy is a young (maybe 1 year old) female Beagle mix. We think she might have some Whippet in her given her tall, lean, agile frame. Lucy's personality is heavy on the Beagle - she is a vocal, alert, intelligent, moderately active girl who enjoys exercise and mental stimulation. Lucy came to us with injuries: a broken hip and fractured pelvis. She's ready to push beyond her past obstacles and begin a new life! She loves people and bonds very strongly to her companion human(s). Lucy is an expert snuggler; she prefers to be right next to her person at all times. Lucy loves other dogs, but she'd also be perfectly content as an "only child". Lucy would do best in a home where her owner(s) isn't gone for long periods at a time. She is house-trained, working on basic obedience skills, and ready to share her heart with someone who has a lot of extra love to give!
