Nitro's family is facing divorce and due to a job relocation that has also occured, they are hoping to find a loving family for him. He is diabetic and needs insulin shots in the am and pm and also needs to be fed mid-day. He is perfect for someone who is home all day and might have another diabetic animal. Nitro is a 12 year old Miniature Schnauzer with a gentleman's personality. He gets along well with dogs of all ages and sizes. He is gentle, patient, and loving. He often makes a special connection with humans. He requires only minimal exercise - 15-20 minutes a day of a slow walk. He is also crate trained. He is diabetic, but only requires a shot of insulin in the morning and evening and low fat dog food. Otherwise he is in great health! He has all of his shots and is licensed. He can stay indoors for up to 6 hours at a time. He would like a good home with a loving family of one, two, or more.
