Everest is one of those cats with whom it is very easy to fall in love with. He is gentle and sweet and doesn't demand much attention. All it takes is some pets throughout the day, a few minutes of play time and a window to hang out at. This does not mean that he doesn't care about his humans. He enjoys being close to his person and follows her when she leaves the room. He is loyal but not demanding or needy.

 
He is the ideal housemate for a busy human who likes to have a furry friend but doesn't have the time to spend hours of playing. 
 
We don't know  Everest 's exact age but think that he is in his senior years.  Everest,  like many senior gentlemen, has GI disease which is currently well controlled by monthly steroid injections.
 
The only caveat is that he doesn't get along with dogs.
 
Everest  is a well behaved, low maintenance, sweet senior cat!
