Both of these sweet girls used to live at a homeless encampment, and were rescued at the end of last year malnourished but with high spirits. Tule (brown tabby) and Emu (black) are now enjoying being spoiled pets! They both use their litterbox religiously, love their cat trees, beds, toys. Their favorite time of the day is play and snuggle time with their foster. If you pull out a wand toy, Tule will be at your feet begging! 

 

Emu is a cautious girl and originally preferred to keep safe distance from humans. Her best friend, Tule, is very social and friendly and playful. Thanks to encouragement from Tule and a little positive reinforcement, Emu has continued to warm up to us and has grown to enjoy the companionship of people! They both greet their foster mom at the door, sit on her lap, self-load in a carrier, and ask their foster for love and attention and pets. Emu still doesn't like surprises and is slow to trust new people, but they'll be the perfect cats for a calm, easygoing household.
