Skid was turned into our local shelter, struggling to stand with very limited use of his hind leg. We assumed he’d been hit by a car. A vet visit revealed a bb lodged near his spine, causing nerve damage. At the recommendation of multiple vets, including an orthopedic surgeon, we gave his leg some time to see if the nerve regenerated, and after a few months he his mobility has vastly improved! He’s happy and sweet and chatty in spite of what he’s been through, and his lame leg does not slow him down one bit!
