My foster brother Alfie told me I needed to put myself out there. So, we created this profile for this thing called Chase-book so people looking for a dog can find me. It’s a little scary, but here goes ...

I’m Dottie! I’d bet the ranch I got my name because of my snowy white coat with it’s one big black polka-dot on it. Speaking of ranches, I was born on a farm in San Martin in May 2015, where I lived with a big family, my sibling, and a bunch of distant relatives – dogs, goats, and even horses. But, me and my sister were “oops” babies. My person wanted to keep us forever, though he couldn’t give us the life we deserved. And that brings me to you. I'll get back to that in a minute.

My first few weeks away from home were hard. I wanted my life, my furry friends, and my people back. But, in time, I’ve grown to like my new animal house, including my foster person, her two dogs, and two cats. I’m learning to walk on a leash, l like to play with my foster siblings, and I've even become a cat-girl, too. (I love the dogs. But cats, too? Who knew?) I guess you could say I'm beginning to come out of my shell. I'm a world-class snuggler, fetcher, and impressionist. (I do a great Chewbacca!) I prance like a deer, and dance at the sound of dog food being scooped, my foster mom’s car pulling in, and the magic words "it’s time to go for a walk."

Now, back to how you can help me. I have just one wish: I wish for gentle, patient people to love me and a quiet place to call home. And, for someone to help me build my confidence too. If you can make my dream come true, I'll love you forever.

PS - Pardon the typos and auto-(in)corrections. Alfie and I typed this on his iPad. And, the cats were no help either. Amirite?
