He ain't nothin' but a hound dog!
An Irish Setter, St Bernard and a Great Pyrenees (although some witnesses claim it may have been a Great Dane) walk into a bar. They have a few and proceed to engage in those activities that come naturally. A coon hound walks by, thinks "that looks fun" and joins in. The result is Big Ben. A middlish-big ball of goof. This young man is like unformed clay waiting to be shaped. But the raw material is excellent. He is friendly, smart, and eager to please. Loves people and dogs. He desperately wants to sleep on the bed with his person (his foster parents are breaking him of that dream). He is beginning basic obedience training where he will learn general manners ad leash skills. Ben is a gentle soul who is quickly learning "how to DOG" in his foster home, thanks to a welcoming pack of canine foster siblings showing him the ropes. This big hunka hunka burnin' love ain't nothin' but a hound dog and he's hoping to find someone who'll love him tender. He has to admit, he can't promise not to get slobber on your favorite blue suede shoes...be warned! If you've got room for this Heinz 57 hound's hound, let us know you'd like to meet him!
